Join Jan Schaffner, Head of Central Engineering at SAP, for an update on SAP’s integration strategy. SAP’s integration plan in the cloud focuses on the holistic integration between SAP-to-SAP applications, both from a technology and business process perspective. By doing so, we deliver significant value to our customers: end-to-end process integration accelerates the speed of innovation, lowers the risk of integration and reduces the complexity of operations.
To achieve this high degree of integration and consistency across processes and solutions, SAP is following a technical construction plan that leads towards the Intelligent Enterprise vision. We introduced distinct “Suite Qualities” our customers will be able to leverage to help facilitate a seamless integration of end-to-end business processes, spanning across our integrated intelligent suite solutions as well as third-party solutions. The first set of released Suite Qualities focus on seamless user experience, one workflow inbox, end-to-end process blueprints, aligned data models, consistent security & identity management, coordinated life cycle management and embedded and cross-product analytics.
Moreover, one further, essential part of SAP’s integration strategy will be explained: the integration options that we offer for non-SAP application integrations in hybrid customer landscapes.
